 Sketchbook #5 is a collection of my painted doodles and sketches in a notebook that was made primarily for wet media-- watercolor, gouache, acrylic. The richly colorful and vibrant pages are a light contrast to an otherwise dark period in recent times-- the COVID-19 pandemic. Art can soothe troubled spirits and the art in this sketchbook was a balm to frazzled nerves-- the artist's, first and foremost, then the viewer's.
